Situated in East Devon on the beautiful Jurassic Coastline, Beer Sailing Club enjoys one of the finest locations for dinghy racing in the South West. Along with great sailing, the club has an excellent social programme. The club has a warm, friendly atmosphere. Visitors are made to feel very welcome. Common Lane, Beer, Devon EX12 3BZ.
The Prawle Point Watchstation stands 200 feet above sea level at the most southerly point in Devon. As with other NCI stations, it is manned by unpaid volunteers who maintain. A watch for emergencies at sea. A contact point for emergencies on shore. Hes are maintained visually, with radio and with radar. Is totally dependent on the generosity of individuals, companies, and other organisations for funding.
